Arran Quarter Cask (Bothy 4)

This single malt Scotch whisky was selected by Arran for the fourth batch o the Bothy series. It was initially matured in first-fill American oak smaller casks for 18 months. It was bottled at natural cask strength 53.8% ABV with chill-filtration or additional coloring. 

Tasting Notes

Nose: Exotic fruit, sweet spice, vanilla, and plenty of warming oak.

Palate: Intensely fruity with fresh pineapple, tinned, and coconut. Brown bread and more rich spice from underneath. 

Finish: Waxy lemon and a hint of cacao linger.
