An exclusive event in Bangkok is coming your way—and it's one no whisky lover should miss. On May 10th, 2025, Speak Easy BKK invites you to an intimate tasting experience with none other than Sam Travers, distiller and blender at Compass Box.

Set in the luxurious The Loft, Waldorf Astoria Bangkok, this private gathering will showcase three new Compass Box SKUs—making their debut in Thailand—alongside a guided session with one of the most passionate voices in the world of whisky blend innovation.

Sam Travers brings over a decade of experience to the tasting room. Originally from Bath, he started his career at The London Distillery Company, helping bring whisky production back to the city after more than a century. As Head Distiller at Sweetdram, Sam mastered the balance of flavor in botanical spirits before expanding his expertise with Douglas Laing across Europe. He later developed standout expressions like Perpetuity and Table Whisky during his time at Port of Leith and Lind & Lime. In 2025, he joined Compass Box to lead innovation and uphold the standards of their Core Collection.

This event in Bangkok offers the rare opportunity to meet Sam in person, ask questions, and taste limited-edition blends that have never been available in Thailand before.

All three whiskies will be available for purchase in our online store, but attendees will get a first taste before the general public.

This is a private event with only 5 seats available. To claim your spot, simply purchase 2 bottles of Compass Box (any SKU) through our online store. Once the order is complete, you’ll receive:
