The Charlie Chaplin
A Timeless Classic.
Following the arrival of the 2024 Drinks International Award-winning Boatyard Gin collection, this month we’ve decided to feature a legend!
The Charlie Chaplin cocktail was first crafted in New York’s Waldorf-Astoria around 1920 and named after the iconic movie star.
This lovely drink is a delightful mix of flavors that's perfect for any season and, with Boatyard Sloe Boat Gin at its core, it promises to be a hit at any gathering.
Ingredients:
- 1 ½ parts Boatyard Sloe Boat Gin
- 1 part lime juice, freshly squeezed
- ¾ part Giffard Abricot Du Roussillon Liqueur
- ¼ part sugar syrup
- Orange twist, to garnish
How to:
- Add all ingredients to an ice-filled cocktail shaker, and shake well.
- Strain into a chilled coupette.
- Garnish with an orange twist.
All you have to do now is to raise a glass to a classic that never goes out of style.
